Warnings

I was warned once through the algorithm and then again by a friend. Though I did not know it yet he could portend my doom mere minutes after our second meeting.

When you become living cliche, when you abandon all feelings of cringe and become truly yourself, a likely repeat of a thousand other people just like you living the same moments and making the same mistakes, you gain security. Knowing that it can only be as bad as the tone of the story your cliche is from, true devastation can never follow. Tom and Jerry may break every bone in their bodies but they can never die.

So I can watch the video again and heed the warning now that I've lived out my suffering, I can understand what was meant because now I have lived life. It is not art, it is simply community. What is expressed is not above the written form, it is the written form and then internalized in the other. That video will speak to me, because I am bad at perceiving art, only after I have lived that exact situation before. Perhaps I would not find myself in dungeons looking for perspective if I could understand these videos.
