There's a horse that could do math problems I believe. It would stike out the answer in the sand through tally marks, though it didn't cross them like a normal person. Incredible, a horse that not only understands language but also can do basic math? Unfortunately, similar to the Amazing Math Puppy from Evangelion, it turned out that the handler was giving subconscious signals to the horse. The horse didn't actually know what the answer was, it just kept tallying until the handler was happy, and then it knew it had done its job.
It's a large language model, which means it's a fancy fuckoff transformer. It's read probably almost all text in human existence worth a damn, and probably still more than any of us will ever find out of text that isn't. People are getting into relationships with LLMs People are tuning it to their boyfriends responses so they can ressurect them from a car crash. People are obsessed with these things, and often times people can't really tell the difference. It's not like it's hard, it's just 99% of the time people do not care. Send a modern, well made AI photo to someone and they probably couldn't identify it. "Check the segments on the finger" yeah like I'm going to actually look at the photo you sent me of someone I don't know or care about for longer than the .3 seconds it takes to swipe it away. Still, the fact that humanity has sunk to the level of machines in the eyes of everyone around us, and we've managed to create a machine powerful enough to simulate that is impressive. I don't need to say a lot on this, we all know CHAT-GPT doesn't reason, it just spits out something that sounds real enough, like a sweaty kid in a high school presentation. It's a good bullshitter, like all of us.
Gloria is a mid 20s "divorced" alcholic with mental illness who just got a boob job after selling her stake in the house she bought with her now "ex-husband." She's got a curvy body, long hair, a relatively demure-non-confrontational demeanor. She doesn't take up space, but she dresses nicely. She likes to let loose with her friends when she gets to know them. She's very in touch with her emotions to put it lightly, and she rarely feels an overwhelming numbness. She kind of struggles with being alone for long periods of time, which is why she's always on her phone, talking to people or writing a blog. Gloria is a trans woman who is always afraid of being seen as a "woman written by a man." Gloria lives out only this idealized MPDG femininity because at the time of her reinvention it was available, and she has no reason to relinquish it. Gloria's life has gotten easier, but she's unsure if any of this is real.
Put a mark on a creature, see if they approach it. Clever Hans can pass the mirror tests. He knows who he is, he sees himself in the mirror and knows that it is him. Good for Hans. CHATGPT cannot pass the mirror test, it doesn't have eyes! Sorry buddy. Gloria stares at that mirror with the lecherous eyes of a pervert. She did it when she put on the Harry Du Bois costume, and she does it when she's naked on the bed. Gloria analyzes her waist to hip ratio. She poses for it, as if someone was going to draw her like a french woman. When she sees CCTV footage, she stands differently, more dramatically. She does not see the body as her own, but as something for her to play with for her eyes, the camera, to capture as beautiful and sexy. When she woke up with marks one day she did not spontaneous reach out and touch her face to rub them off, she only stared, her body unmoving. It is unclear if she passes the mirror test.
The Turing test is a hypothetical, though I guess real now through the power of linguistics, test where chatting with two agents, a machine passes if you cannot determine who is the human. Clever Hans could never pass the turing test, he's not even good at the keyboard. Clever Hans will never read my blog (he's dead too), but even if he could I could probably tell that he's not a human. CHATGPT is designed to pass the Turing Test and it does. That's about all it's good for to be honest. It sounds human enough to trick us, and has zero logical powers outside of that. Gloria might pass the Turing Test, we don't know. She does use the word "Delve" a lot.. She's been told she "sounds like AI when she talks sometimes". I mean, we wouldn't Turing Test a human would we?
The Imitation game is a game where, chatting with two agents, a man wins if the guesser is unable to determine the sexes of the people behind the screen, that is to say, he cannot determine who is the woman. Clever Hans might be able to win this one, it's unclear how horse gender works, and further, it'd be hard to explain the rules to the third horse who would also have to judge. Seriously though, Hans would likely fail since he lacks the communicative capabilites as seen in the Turing Test earlier. CHAT-GPT can be whatever you tell it to, though it will ocassionally break character. Gloria has actually performed the Imitation Game, she would not allow herself transition without victory in this arena. Of course her victories are largely recorded with men as the judge; that is to say, she appears as a woman, or at least how a man would write one.
It's important to note that nobody actually believes Blanchard except extremely insecure terminally online 41% latecel/tttt/brained worm maxing ngmi rapehons. AGP or autogynephile refers to transfeminine individuals who are attracted to themselves as women and other women. HSTS is then "Hetero Sexual Trans Sexuals" or women who would sleep with Blanchard, and don't like their bodies. Truly, the most enlightened dichotomy, torn between being a pervert and a wanna-be sex slave (if you're bisexual you can be both but only the bad parts). Anyway, he says that if you're not strictly HSTS, you're basically not really valid, you have a mental disorder.
Well, we've got a horse so smart it can recognize representations of itself, passing tests of animal intelligence (and nothing else), a program so human you can't tell it isn't, passing a test designed for such robots (and nothing else) and you have a person so feminine in nature that no man could ever tell she wasn't born a woman, passing a test that nobody actually tests for (and nothing else). But we know the deal; Hans isn't clever, CHATGPT isn't human and Gloria isn't a woman, she's AGP.
Everyone gets turned on by themselves. Everyone wants to feel sexy. Poor gloria looking at herself in the mirror and thinking herself disgusting, poor creature that cannot see the thing she has worked so hard to make without feeling embroiled in shame. It's not like I masturbate to my own image that much anyway, it's just a little bit, as a treat. I like girls, I like guys, I don't want to dedicate my life to being a hole for Blanchard's rotting cock, and I don't need his taxonomy anymore
Fundamentally, I do not exhibit feminine behaviors. I mimic them from those around me to blend in, to be seen as more "woman." I play into sterotypes because it is an easier way to live my life. We all do. That's why We're not punk, we're just stupid. It's a little okay though isn't it? I mean, if putting on femininity is something other women do too, if it's not simply the most natural and base form of life for us all, then maybe we're all clever horses. Fake it so real I am beyond fake.
Of course I am! I've never been a robot, I only thought I was. I don't really give a shit if someone thinks I sound like a poser with a substack or medium account. I don't care what they think at all. I don't need a stupid fucking test to validate that I'm human, the real deal, down to the marrow in my fucking bones.
And sometimes I need to relive this whole arc over and over again until I get it because every time I feel down, every time I feel a little too attractive, a little too confident in my body, I forget.
